A really nice tour, which requires something physically at the same time. In the uphill on the plateau of Lipisbüel, try to go to the corresponding mountain restaurant Lipplisbüöl. There, fine local dining wait so that you can master the pass strengthened. Up to the Chinzig Chulm a lot has happened probably. You should however towards Gamperstock about 2000MüM not take the enticing new gravel road and on the Chlum push the bike better. The traverse on the Geissgrätli to the Chlum is tedious and barely mobile. The first piece of downhill has become probably easier, much new gravel/stones available. The downhill follows eggbergen unfortunately tar road, there can be good in the nose drill ;) That would still be expanded. Nevertheless, thank you for the beautiful tour!
By the swimming pool in Ohlstadt (650m) to the Tennis Club and there right direction SW on the Boschetrundweg. After the Boschetkapelle right direction N after Germany. Direction NW to the Hay mountain road, turn left direction SW and on the forest road to the river Loisach to Eschenlohe. There immediately after the bridge left on the dam and the Walchensee Street. On this left direction home garden. At the junction to the Eschenlaine down, but continue on the road. When Wengwies straight on the short steep forest path. 820 m the junction right direction O up. After a short descent leads the way on the dirt road. Here turn left and now mostly uphill direction home garden. Shortly after the wank hut (1370 m), reaching free grounds. There in the meadow to the highest point (1403 m wank). The trail branches off to the right direction NW. After a few cabins (1360m) narrows the path and comes right to the point. But still, one can leave the gas, only later come a few steep steps over rocks and four return. Here, the trail is wide enough but to find a good line. On the bench (1050m), it is then over, the second half crosses the slope as Flowtrail direction no. and flows into a dirt road, which ends at the edge of the forest at a barrier. Left back on the path through meadows and before the pitch right to the pool.
Hi, the route went by chance in December 2014.With a full backpack, Eisenharttail and "free nose". The roads were completely wash out and only still partially available, Barranco el Muerto el Pozo Beach bent desiccated Riverbed to the sea, then unfortunately no longer went to twice of course evil procedures without climbing! so back uphill to the last junction. Conclusion: Beach found oppressed!Thereafter remained above your route and push the bike the next damn steep Sch...sberg or worn. Then beautiful trail downhill towards the sea and found back on the right track.Super horny... nice trailig, but without GPS only for experienced trackers to track.
Beautiful tour! Annoying just at the entrance on the Pfaffenberg saddle last yard on the side of the road, before it comes back on the main road: an aggressive German Shepherd! shut up there 3 times, 3 times repelled the bitch; the owners stand next to it and stir no Ohrwaschl! :(
To drive a Very much beautiful tour that is absolutely worth it. Very atmospheric and weekdays fantastically quiet end of September. In contrast to the previous writer, I felt the increases partly as quite nutritious. If you the necessary time can have, but no problem. For the downhill is fast. With the exact route to follow Me too would recommend that. Made me even a deviation and had to promptly push the bike and carry.
Hoi Mathias, I notice when reading your description, that you have to be a Very much sportive XC riders. :)
Hmmm, 51 km, 2300 hm and condition only 2 points? This is likely a condition = 4 points, or tour? ;-)
You start the tour in Werdenberg and drive up the so-called "water alley", which is "goat-steep" and not as above in the text welcoming 10% described slope, but permanent until Valspuus on average to 17% at the end being getting steeper. After Valspuus it is almost the last 200 meters of driving, but it is then irrelevant.
so please once writes that the tout of the winterjoechel is anything but a mountainbike. You carry, push your bike over muddy meadows and rocky paths.
Thats what for nature lovers with good rubber boots that also as suitable bergsteifel.
