Description

Circuit and from Reckingen
the Staalen trail is a signposted tour of global trail.
Actually, it would need no description here, you can simply follow the GPS track and follow the signs.
From the train station of Reckingen, we follow the path a piece of West direction Gluringen, pass under the railway line on the s-curve and follow the winter hiking trail to trail bridge, which we cross to the edge of the trail. The restaurant is eye star in sight. Behind the restaurant / campsite, we climb the slope. Maybe it has already a suitable track, otherwise you have to find. Leave us the mark down. Up on the embankment cross the diagonal, footsteps / tags / box GPS track next to the road. A short piece to the right, then left on a footbridge over the bales. Short out to the right, southward over the free area, at a reasonable distance from the bales. The land rises at the end of this area and we climb switchbacks steep agreed in the forest and Chapel soon in the Staalen
we continue the path up to the road (prepared winter hiking trail), we follow a short piece to right up. Then we leave the road and go slope (usually is however running) through the forest on the upper road, which is also maintained as a winter hiking trail. We follow this road out of the Valley (North) up a Switchback. There, we leave the road and descend the slope in the direction of Alp buildings. Here we come again on the open field. Towards the West, on an electricity pylon, we exceed the slope down and continue the level. Here we cross the track several times. On a street near a large House is then end up with snow-shoe walking and we return to the road to the station.
Of course can be walked upon the trail in the opposite direction, however, the way in this direction is to find something better.
The latest online snow report contains information on the cross-country ski trails, ski slopes, winter hiking trails, more and toboggan in the Upper Goms. For smartphones is a mobile version of m.obergoms.ch
