Description

In the area of the Pysche forest, the trail has since winter 2016-2017 a new track.
From Oberwald station, we go over the bridge to the cross-country ski run. We strap on snowshoes and follow the winter hiking trail left of the LL building diagonally across the field to the hotel Tannenhof, the restaurant is closed. We follow the trail and cross the street. We follow on the other side of the street a short piece of track (left is a public car park). The starting Board for the Hüswäg trail is to the right. If you scan the QR code on the Board, one has however not the newly set trail, but still the old, where neither tracks nor markings can be found. After parking, we follow the new trail marked with red/white marking tapes left. Once we have passes under the railway bridge, we see soon the new, beautiful bridge, where we to seed takes cross-country skiers on the other side of the rotten. We continue along the markings or the GPS track, always more or less close to the trail. To find the original way, it takes some Scout flair until we cross the track one last time. We follow her up a notch to the right and then leave the forest trail and follow the summer mountain trail always upgrade. At the St. Nicholas Chapel, we turn a drink break and enjoy the view on the Upper Goms and the white Horn. We continue to follow the trail roughly northward until the direction at right angles (to the West) changes to the left. To go further, it is prohibited because of avalanche danger. Always the direction we cross the railway line the Furka mountain route and then reach the highest point of the trail to the restaurant Rhonequelle,.
, Beyond of the pass road leads the trail through the forest. The first marks are hidden in the trees. Walking steadily down we traverse the road twice and then follow the railway tracks of the Furka mountain route down to the street and walking back to the train station. If you want in the village can alternatively before or after the dam (in front of the Church) to the pass road descend.

Comments
, The walking time 3 hours for the Hüswäg snowshoe trail is something even highly calculated. A period of 2 hours would be sufficient. We are there in 1 hour 30' marching off,. Breaks
